Access Unit
How Do I Get These Services?
The goal of the San Bernardino County Mental Health Program is to provide services in a timely manner. You may contact the ACCESS Unit 24 hours a day via our toll-free line at (888) 743-1478. You may also walk in or call one of the Department of Behavioral Health's outpatient clinics during the hours listed on this Web site. You may also contact a Contract Clinic or MHP Fee-for-Service Provider.
When you contact the ACCESS Unit, a mental health professional will provide you with information, provide screening and referrals and discuss the types of services that would be most helpful to you. The ACCESS Unit will refer you to a Department of Behavioral Health clinic, Contract Clinic, or Fee-for-Service Provider that will best meet your cultural, linguistic and treatment needs.
