Conditional Release Program information provided by: San Bernardino County Department of Mental Health

The Conditional Release Program provides intensive mental health services and community monitoring only to individuals referred by the Superior Court and/or the Board of Prison Terms. Most of these individuals have been found to be not guilty by reason of insanity, incompetent to stand trial, or to be mentally disordered offenders. Services include a variety of assessments, home visits, collateral contacts, drug testing, intensive case management, placement, and day treatment, group therapy and individual psychotherapy. Services are closely monitored by the State Department of Mental Health and the Superior Court.
